More than 1,000 at healing mass - Chatham Daily News - Ontario, CA

Marie Alexandre witnessed many miracles Saturday during a Catholic healing mass and service.
"Last night was unbelievably powerful -- beyond description," she told The Chatham Daily News Sunday.
Alexandre organized the service at Immaculee Conception Roman Catholic Church in Pain Court. More than 1,100 people from southwestern Ontario and around North America attended.
"We saw major, major healings," she said. "It was unreal."
Alexandre said people went to the service with various ailments and left transformed.
"One gentleman walked in with a cane and left without it," she said, adding another woman had two canes and left the church without help, even going down stairs on her own.
She said a teacher who has suffered with debilitating neck pain for six years left so happy she was crying.
"The Holy Spirit comes upon the person to do the healing," Alexandre said. "God is just using this tiny little Father Fernando Suarez and given him a powerful gift."
People weren't just healed physically at the event, Alexandre said, noting others were transformed spiritually and mentally.
"People were crying because of healing of their hearts," she said.
Alexandre said the service has been in the works for two years, ever since she personally experienced Suarez's power.

She said he cured her of severe asthma at a similar healing mass in Dublin, Ont.
"I didn't really want to go," she admitted. "I did and within two days I was off medication."
She's been a firm believer in his gift ever since.
She said the event was so successful, she's planning to bring Suarez back for another service.
"This is his mission, to travel around the world and do healing masses and share his gift," she said.
