Knights council 9262 executive meeting -St Pius 7:00- SEPT 21 2012

 

Gentlemen and Brother Knights 

 

Welcome back from the summer break . This will be our first official meeting  of the executive and members  for  2012 2013. 

 

The last 2 weeks  of the month will be busy with our Parish Council Knights activities. ( Please pass this on to fellow council members)

 

• Thursday  September 20  -St Pius EXECUTIVE meeting   starts at 7 duration 1 hour max -this meeting is to finalize and  the direction for the new year

Financial status and new plans and programs to improve our programs

Financial status -dues outstanding -any outstanding liabilities

Special Community fundraising programs -  Knights Snack wagon , Nevada tickets , other programs ( Canada Helps=Dufferin Club)

Normal good will fundraising events -Car Draw

Parish related events  Breakfasts Rose Sunday - ( open to new initiatives)

Knight volunteer and community programs

Youth Free throw -starts in Nov

Blood clinic

Hospital and family visits  for the good of the order and parish

Open to suggestions

Parish Activities and working with the parish groups

Parking

As requested and directed by Father Tim and other church council groups by agreement     We would be interested to hear from Father Tim as to his vision ,and wish list of how we can help him

How can we  make a better  difference for the (our)  parish ?

Recruitment and the renewal   of our membership and executive

Executive, training  and backup plans - committee project chairs  open for actionable ideas

when should we meet and how do we improve communications with all members and the parish ?

Church and Bishops initiatives and how we can help ? open

• General members meeting   the following Thursday September 27 at St Pius parish Hall
• Installation of officers ( All Councils ) on Friday September 28 at 630 -Family friends  welcome -light apre refreshments will be served
