There's some mighty fine advice in these words, even if you're not
superstitious. This has been sent To you for good luck from the
Anthony Robbins organization. It has been sent around the world ten
times so Far.

. This is true, even if you are not superstitious, agnostic, or
otherwise faith impaired.

ONE.   Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.

TWO  ... Marry a man/woman you love to talk to. As you get older,
their conversational skills will be as important as any other.

THREE.   Don't believe all you hear, spend all you have or sleep all you want.

FOUR  . When you say, 'I love you ,' mean it.

FIVE.   When you say, 'I'm sorry,' look the person in the eye.

SIX  .... Be engaged at least six months before you get married.

SEVEN..   Believe in love at first sight.

EIGHT.   Never laugh at anyone's dream. People who don't have dreams
don't have much.

NINE  . Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt but it's the
only way to live life completely.

TEN. .  In disagreements, fight fairly. No name calling.

ELEVEN  Don't judge people by their relatives.

TWELVE.  Talk slowly but think quickly.

THIRTEEN.  When someone asks you a question you don't want to answer,
smile and ask, 'Why do you want to know?'

FOURTEEN.  Remember that great love and great achievements involve great risk.

FIFTEEN.  Say 'bless you' when you hear someone sneeze.

SIXTEEN.  When you lose, don't lose the lesson !

SEV ENTEEN.  Remember the three R's: Respect for self; Respect for
others; and responsibility for all your actions.

EIGHTEEN...  Don't let a little dispute injure a great friendship..

NINETEEN.   When you realize you've made a mistake, take immediate
steps to correct it.

TWENTY.   Smile when picking up the phone... The caller will hear it
in your voice..

TWENTY-ONE.   Spend some time alone.

A true friend is someone who reaches for your hand and touches your
heart Do not keep this message

This is without a doubt one of the nicest good luck forwards I have

Be strong in your belief It worked for Job

1. No Fear! Yeah, Right!

"The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? The
LORD is with me; he is my helper. I will look in triumph on my
enemies."1

The story is told about a baby bear "that wandered away from his
mother in search of food. This was his first foray; so he was a little
timid. A large, ferocious mountain lion spotted the baby bear and
approached to attack. The baby bear, not knowing what else to do,
reared up on his hind legs as he had seen his mother do this as a
defense. Immediately, the mountain cat retreated; ran like he was
scared to death. The baby bear, very proud of himself, continued
foraying for food. What the mountain lion saw, and the baby bear
didn't know, was that the mother bear was behind the baby bear,
rearing up on her hind legs, ready to attack the mountain lion."2

No fear! Yeah. Right! Breathed the man with soul so dead who never to
himself hath said, "I'm scared half to death." Fear is a common plight
of us all—unless we bury and hide it, which is a dangerous path to
follow for what we deny we inevitably act out in some self- or
other-destructive way. Someone has said that there are 365 "fear nots"
in the Bible—one for every day of the year!

David, who penned the words of today's Psalm had every reason on many
occasions to be terrified because King Saul, ravished by a jealous
hatred of David, was hunting him down to kill him. So whenever I am
afraid, I take a page out of David's book, and keep repeating to
remind myself, "The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can
man do to me?"

The good news is that God is with us … always … he will never leave us
or forsake us … hence to counteract our fears we can learn to place
our confidence in him and not in ourselves. It's important, too, not
to allow fears to control us for if we don't control (or resolve)
them, they will control us.

Brantford.com -: "Volunteer plea greets new Rotary president
Last Updated: Fri, 17 Jul 2009

BRANTFORD (BCN) - John McGraw, newly-elected Rotary Club of Brantford president, takes over the position just as the Brantford Air Show – one of the group’s fundraisers – has sent out a plea for more volunteer help. McGraw has been active in the club for 23 years and has helped with the Brantford Classic Run, Lobsterfest and Rotary Youth Exchange. This is the first year the Rotary Club has been chief sponsor of the air show, and organizer Gary Surette says volunteers can contact him about the September 2 event through its website . The Rotary Club is also involved in another new fundraising venture, Clowns for Kids, which last year raised $30,000 for the Boys and Girls Club of Brantford."

: Excellent letter! on being a real Canadian !

As a born german -I am a proud Canadian and believe that this is a good letter . Stop the political correctness. expensive nonsense which devalues our country values.

Canadians -time to get our country back

"Ships in the harbour are safe, but that's not what ships are built for." William Shedd

A Letter to the Editor (excellent letter)

So many letter writers have explained how this land is made up of immigrants.
Maybe we should turn to our history books and point out to people why today's Canadian
is not willing to accept the new kind of immigrant any longer.

Back in 1900 when there was a rush from all areas of Europe to come to Canada,
people had to get off a ship and stand in a long line in Halifax and be documented.
Some would even get down on their hands and knees and kiss the ground.
They made a pledge to uphold the laws and support their new country in good and bad times.
They made learning English a primary rule in their new Canadian households and some even changed their names to blend in with their new home. They had waved good bye to their birth place to give their children a new life and did everything in
their power to help their children assimilate into one culture.

Nothing was handed to them. No free lunches, no welfare, no labour laws to protect them. All they had were the skills, craftsmanship and desire they had brought with them to trade for a future of prosperity.

Most of their children came of age when World War II broke out.
Canadians fought along side men whose parents had come straight over from Germany, Italy, France, Japan, Czechoslovakia, Russia, Sweden, Poland and so many other places.
None of these first generation Canadians ever gave any thought about what country their parents had come from. They were Canadians fighting Hitler, Mussolini and the
Emperor of Japan. They were defending the Freedom as one people.
When we liberated France, no-one in those villages was looking for the
Ukrainian-Canadian or the German-Canadian or the Irish-Canadian.
The people of France saw only Canadians.

And we carried one flag that represented our country.
Not one of those immigrant sons would have thought about picking up
another country's flag and waving it to represent who they were. It would
have been a disgrace to their parents who had sacrificed so much to be here.
These immigrants truly knew what it meant to be a Canadian.
They stirred the melting pot into one red and white bowl.

And here we are in 2009 with a new kind of immigrant who wants the same rights and privileges.
Only they want to achieve it by playing with a different set of rules, one that includes a Canadian passport and a guarantee of being faithful to their mother country.

I'm sorry, that's not what being a Canadian is all about. Canadians have been very open-hearted and open-minded regarding immigrants, whether they were fleeing poverty, dictatorship,
persecution, or whatever else makes us think of those aforementioned immigrants who truly did ADOPT our country, and our flag and our morals and our customs. And left their wars, hatred, and divisions behind. I believe that the immigrants who landed in Canada in the early 1900s deserve better than that for the toil, hard work and sacrifice those legally searching for a better life.
I think they would be appalled that they are being used as an example by those waving foreign country flags, fighting foreign battles on our soil, making Canadians change to suit their religions and cultures, and wanting to change our countries fabric by claiming discrimination when we do not give in to their demands.

Its about time we get real and stand up for our forefathers rights.
We are CANADIAN Lest we forget it!!!
I am a Citizen of this Country & proud of it!

NO MORE POLITICAL CORRECTNESS
NO MORE not saying CHRISTMAS in
stores and our schools!
MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!
I Want my Canada of birth BACK !!!

P. S. -- Please pass this on to everyone you know!!!

KEEP THIS LETTER MOVING!!

Hope this letter is read by millions of people all across Canada!!

knights are winners

Winners Vs. Losers

"According to your faith will it be done to you."1

A winner sees an opportunity in every risk while a loser sees a risk in every opportunity. Winners know that to risk nothing is to risk everything. They know that if they are going to win, they have to be willing to try, to take chances, and to risk failure. They have to be willing to strike out if they are going to hit home runs.

The year Babe Ruth broke the world record for hitting the most home runs in baseball he also broke the world's record for the most strikeouts!

The point is if I am going to hit home runs, I have to be in the game, stand at the plate and keep swinging. Sooner or later, if I practice hard and do my best, I will hit a home run.

As somebody else has said, "To try when there is little hope is to risk failure. Not to try at all is to guarantee it."

Some people think that success comes to those who are lucky. Luck, if you want to call it that, comes when preparation meets opportunity.

True winners make sure their goals are in harmony with God's will and because of this, know that with his help there is a way to achieve them. Furthermore, they believe in their cause and they believe in themselves in a healthy way. They know that God never calls or expects anyone to do anything that can't be done. Therefore, they expect to win and believe they will—and work hard to make it happen. They know that "the only place where success comes before work is in the dictionary."

They also know that if they tried and did their best already they have won.
