The prize doesn't always go to the most deserving! It goes to those who want to push the agenda.   See below and you will see why:*

Irena Sendler

There recently was a death of a 98 year-old lady named Irena. During WWII, Irena, got permission to work in the Warsaw Ghetto,as a Plumbing/Sewer specialist.  She had an ' ulterior motive ' ...  She KNEW what the Nazi's plans were for the Jews, (being German.) Irena smuggled infants out in the bottom of the tool box she carried and she carried in the back of her truck a burlap sack, (for larger kids.) She also had a dog in the back that she trained to bark when the Nazi soldiers let her in and out of the ghetto.  The soldiers of course wanted nothing to do with the dog and the barking covered the kids/infants noises.  During her time of doing this, she managed to smuggle out and save 2500 kids/infants.  She was caught and the Nazi ' s broke both her legs, arms and beat her severely.  Irena kept a record of the names of all the kids she smuggled out and kept them in a glass jar,  buried under a tree in her back yard.  After the war, she tried to locate any parents that may have survived it and reunited the family.  Most of course had been gassed.  Those kids she helped got placed into foster family homes or adopted.

Last year Irena was up for the Nobel Peace Prize ... She was not selected.

* Al Gore won, for a slide show on Global Warming.

LET'S SEND THIS ONE AROUND THE WORLD!!!!!!!!

GOD BLESS HER    May she rest in Peace.

Good news- testing the earthquake in Italy

Pope's bones survive earthquake

The bones of one of the Catholic Church's most enigmatic popes survived the Italian earthquake and were taken Thursday from the church where he was buried.

St. Celestine V's bones will be stored safely while the Basilica di Collemaggio in L'Aquila, which was damaged in the quake, is repaired, the Italian news agency ANSA reported.

''It's another great miracle by the pope,'' said Fabio Carapezza Guttuso, head of the country's Heritage Security Commission, of the survival of Celestine's earthly remains.

Celestine, the last pontiff not chosen by a conclave, was proclaimed pope in 1294 in L'Aquila. Five months later, he resigned his office.

The pope hoped to spend the rest of his life as a hermit. His successor, Boniface VIII, instead imprisoned him in a castle where he died within a year, ANSA reported.

The poet Dante, who despised Boniface, blamed Celestine in "The Inferno" for his "great refusal" of responsibility. But Celestine has been admired by many for his virtue.

Happy Easter - remember it is important to have the right attitude-christ's weakness (death) became his greatest strength

. The Power of Attitude

"Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might."1

I have read how William Wilberforce (who became an evangelical Christian) was a diminutive man and never enjoyed good health. For twenty years he was under doctor's orders and had to take drugs to keep body and soul together. Yet he stopped the British slave trade. Boswell once went to hear him speak and said afterward: "I saw what seemed a mere shrimp mounted upon the platform, but as I listened, he grew and grew till the shrimp became a whale."

The interesting thing is that so many successes in history have been achieved by people who have either been limited by some kind of handicap or have suffered a major setback or failure of one kind or another.

It's one's attitude in life that makes the difference. No matter what happens to us, with a positive attitude we can rise above our difficulties and achieve notable things with our life.

By having a positive attitude I don't mean the denial of reality, but rather to be a positive realist. For instance, if I have been hit by a truck, all the positive thinking in the world won't take away the pain. To be a positive realist means that I admit that I have been hit and hurt real bad—but with God's help, and that of the medical profession and the support of loving friends, I will recover to the fullest possible extent and turn this experience into another blessing.

As another has said, "Our lives are not determined by what happens to us, but how we react to what happens; not by what life brings to us, but by the attitude we bring to life. A positive attitude causes a chain reaction of positive thoughts, events and outcomes. It is a catalyst … a spark that creates extraordinary results."

What is Easter really about- least we forget

THE (SCIENTIFIC) DEATH OF JESUS

At the age of 33, Jesus was condemned to the death penalty.

That was then the 'worst' death. Only the worst criminals could die like Jesus.
And with Jesus things were worse because not all the criminals condemned to death could receive nails on their hands and feet.

Of course nails... Big nails! Each was 15 x 20 cm long, with a point of 6 cm. Another point was sharp.

The nails were carved into the pulses (wrists), and not into the palms, as we are used to hearing... In the pulse there's a tendon which extends to the shoulder and when the nails were being hammered that tendon broke, obliging Jesus to reinforce all the muscles of his back, so that he could breath as He was losing all the air from his lungs.

In this way, He was forced to support Himself onto the nail carved into his feet, which was bigger than those carved into his pulses, for both feet were carved together. And, as his feet could not endure for a long time without tearing, Jesus was forced to alternate that 'cycle' so that He could breath.

Jesus endured that reality over 3 hours.

Yes, over 3 hours! Long time, isn't it? A few minutes before He died, Jesus was not bleeding anymore.

He was simply pouring water from his cuts and holes.

When we imagine Him injured, we only picture Him with injuries, but it is not enough; His wounds were true holes, made into his body.

He had no more blood to bleed, He only poured water.

Human body is composed of nearly 3.5 liters of blood (for an adult).

Jesus poured out all 3.5 liters of his blood; He had three nails hammered into his members; a crown of thorns on his head and, beyond that, a Roman soldier who shoved a spear into his side.

All this without mentioning the humiliation He passed after carrying his own cross for almost 2 km, while the crowd spat on his face and threw stones (the cross was almost 30 kg of weight, only for its higher part, where his hands were nailed).

Jesus had to pass all this experience, so that you can have free access to God.

So that your sins could be 'washed' away. All of them, with no exception! Don't ignore this situation. HE DIED FOR YOU!. For you, who now read this e-mail. Do not believe that He only died for others (those who go to church or for pastors, bishops, etc).

He died for you! It is easy to pass jokes or foolish photos by e-mail, but when it comes to God, sometimes you feel ashamed to forward to others because you are worried about what they may think about your morals.

Accept the reality, the truth that JESUS IS THE ONLY SALVATION FOR THE WORLD.

God has plans for you, show all your friends what He experienced to save you. Now think on this! May God bless your life!

60 seconds with God...

During 60 seconds, leave whatever you're doing and seize this opportunity! Let's see if satan can stop this.

All you have to do is:

1. Simply pray for the person who sent this message to you: Lord, you know better than I the life of _________. I ask You to bless him/her in all realms and make him/her prosperous. Take care of his/her family, his/her health, his/her work and all his/her plans for this year. Lead him/her not into temptation, but deliver him/her from evil. In Jesus' name, amen.

2.Then, send this message to 10 people.

3. Once, 10 people will pray for you and you will make that many people pray to God for other people.

4. Think a moment and appreciate the power of God in your life, for doing what pleases Him.

If you are not ashamed in doing this, please, follow Jesus' instructions. He said (Matthew 10:33): 'But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven'.

If you are not ashamed, send this message... Only if you believe in Him.

Yes, I love God. He is my source of life and my Saviour. He keeps me alive day and night..

Without Him, I am nothing, but with Him 'I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me'. Philippians 4:13.

This is the simpl
e proof. If you love God and you are not ashamed for all things He has done for you, send this to all those you love.
